When searching for a boat of this caliber, certainly one of the most important factors is the engines.
When comparing apples to apples, please note that these twin Yanmar engines were brand new in 2003 and have approximately 1200 ORIGINAL hours on them. These are not re-builds.
You may also note that these Yanmars are 720 HP and will cruise at 23 kts with a burn of only 43 GPH.
The 2003 Northern Lights Diesel Generator runs great and has approximately 450 hours of total time.

This classic Bertram had a complete make over from head to toe in 2004.
In addition to the new engines and generator, several enhancements were made including an electronic ignition system, custom live well and drink/ice box installation, three new air conditioning units, sliding door replaced with a solid swing door, etc.
This vessel has been maintained very well since the current owner purchased her in 2003. Owner has put in approx $80K into recent enhancements.

This classic Bertram fishing machine was completely made over in 2004 from top to bottom, including BRAND NEW 2003 720 HP Yanmar Diesels (NOT rebuilds), NEW 2003 12 KW Northern Lights Generator, upgraded electronics, and many custom fishing features were added such as the transom mounted 75 gallon livewell and the large in-deck fish/ice box. The custom features added to this vessel are real and practical.
This boat catches fish! Included in Price - good karma/luck to be transferred over to new Captain!
